Vermontsolarbarn, with a local manufacturing facility in the old Log Mill in Hartland, is working with Integrity Solar from Bethel to provide turnkey timberframe out buildings fitted with Rooftop solar.
If anyone is interested in seeing our demonstration unit, they can visit the location at 98 Rt 12 in Hartland. The fully operational setup with a 12KW solar array is estimated to produce around $150 per month in electricity generation.
The design of these barn buildings is flexible and can serve various purposes such as parking, EV charging station, animal run-ins, or garage space if the exterior is sheathed. The number of bays can be customized to meet individual requirements. The spacious bays offer 15' openings between doors, providing convenient access for large equipment or small.

The pricing below is only one of many possible pricing configurations. There are higher and lower options available. Please contact us for a specific quote. The picture of the Vermont Solar Barn shown on this web site is the Solar Barn located in Hartland VT.
The price of the two bay building in Hartland without the solar panels is $49k retail. Smaller and larger configurations are available. The Hartland building includes 12KW of power in high quality solar panels and inverters. Some people may not need 12kw and elect 6kw. The cost per watt of energy for a 12KW is around $2 per watt - around $3 per watt for a 6KW array. VSB contracts with several quality solar panel companies and pricing for the solar component varies with regard to kw size. Again, please keep in mind that The Inflation Reduction Act potentially allows for a 30% tax credit.
Site work can be performed by your contractor, or we can do the work for an additional charge.
